Second afghan done

I did this one in black with cream and pale green. I did a chain-5 picot edge. Of course, Elvis is a little star, and he can't stay away when he sees me pull out the camera.

Spring has arrived

I like how it turned out. And I was surprised at how easy it actually was.

First afghan finished

I finished up my first afghan. I love the colors. Of course, Elvis cannot stand being away from the camera.

New camera

I got a new camera this weekend, so I went to the park to try it out. I still need more practice, but I really like this shot of a fern.

My first granny square afghan

I finally managed to teach myself to crochet, and I started this giant granny square afghan. I absolutely love the color scheme. I decided to make one large continuous granny square rather than making and joining many squares. I should be done in another week or so.

Moving day has arrived

We're actually leaving for the 1800-mile road trip portion of the move tomorrow, but the movers have been here, and our stuff is on the way to WA State.
